Building on our foundation of innovative research and scientific integrity, we are proud to introduce our Application Center located in the pristine area called Carey Island.

This center embodies our service philosophy that we have developed through more than a decade of experience particularly in the areas of oils and fats, oleo chemicals and personal care and cosmetic products (PCC).

Under the strictest confidentiality, our specialists will work with the clients in exploring new market possibilities.

The center which is part of the Sime Darby Research Center is highly equipped with laboratories, state of the art instruments and pilot plants.

The Application Center for Food and Beverage is co-located within the same complex. The main area of innovation is in the oils & fats - the Group’s core products.

Through the extensive research done by our skilled and experienced scientists, comprising of chemists, food technologists and nutritionists; several prototype products had been successfully developed. The R&D team is made up of more than 250 scientists.

Most products developed by Sime Darby Research are ready to be commercialized as they had undergone thorough testing and efficacy studies which were done internally and by third parties.

All of our products are specially formulated from carefully selected natural& plant which we source locally and internationally.
