Sime Darby Bioganic Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Golden Hope Bioganic Sdn Bhd, is a member  of the Sime Darby Group, the world's biggest listed palm plantation company. Leveraging on more than 200 years of experience in plantations, Sime Darby Bioganic ("Bioganic") has embarked on the nutraceuticals industry.

The diversification to the nutraceuticals industry has proven to be a good decision for Bioganic. The company is now capable of manufacturing high purity tocotrienols derived from palm fruit extract, marketed under the brand names of "Gold Tri.E" and "Palmvitee".

Tocotrienols have all the properties to be considered as the new generation of potent anti-oxidant. Researches suggest that tocotrienols could also be highly beneficial in the prevention and treatment of cardio-vascular conditions, cancer, skin related conditions, many other degenerative and ageing related diseases.

Gold Tri. E and Palmvitee tocotrienols are extracted from Elaeis guineensis (palm fruit) by using a special patented process, under license, from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), formerly known as The Palm Oil Research Institute of Malaysia or PORIM. The extraction plant has the start-of-the art technology and has the capacity to produce superior purity tocotrienols. The chain of quality control activities are well-maintained and traceable : from the "fields" or the "farm"(at the planting stage), to the harvest and right to the extraction and concentration stages. Tocotrienols are 40 to 60 times more potent as an anti-oxidant, compared to tocopherol, the regular type of VITAMIN E which can be found in some nuts, cereal grains and seeds, leafy green vegetables, avocadoes, fortified foods etc. Many recent clinical studies have shown tocotrienol would be more beneficial for health maintenance.
